Relax at Lavender in a home away from home in our beautifully renovated, homely cottage situated near the Twmba Base Hospital. Polished wooden floors and ornately decorated ceilings make this a welcoming, comfortable and tranquil home. Have a relaxing stay and enjoy the cottage garden setting backing onto a park whether you are travelling for business or leisure. From the moment you arrive, you’ll appreciate the quality and attention to detail that has been taken to set up this guest house. The space The kitchen is fully equipped with quality appliances including a dishwasher, Nespresso coffee maker machine and all the utensils you’ll need to self-cater. Natural light floods the large open kitchen and dining area via a central skylight. You’ll experience a touch of luxury with quality linen, furniture and comfortable beds. There is an extra touch of class with our eco-friendly products that are supplied throughout the house, in the kitchen, bathroom and laundry. These products will pamper you and make your stay even more enjoyable. There is a reverse cycle air conditioner in the living room. The first main bedroom has air-conditioning and a ceiling fan, as well as a ceiling fan in bedroom 2, the living room and the kitchen. The two main bedrooms feature queen beds and the third features a king single. There is a day bed that can be ready for you if you need a fourth bed. Please advise if you’d like this set up when booking. Unwind and enjoy the outlook of the garden and park. The outdoor setting is a perfect spot to relax and can be shaded in summer using the umbrella or you can take advantage of the western afternoon sun in winter. A BBQ is available for guests. Guests enjoy full access to the entire house which features a double lock-up shed for additional security and complimentary broadband wi-fi. Enjoy the warm, cosy slow combustion wood fire in the winter months. It is perfectly located for business professionals or a holiday. Other things to note The house is smoke free and pet free. As we are in a drought and on water restrictions, please be water conscious. For stays of more than a fortnight, a complimentary cleaning service will be provided at the end of the fortnight and at the end of each following week. There are no extra hidden fees for cleaning nor for the use of washing machine or dryer. Guest access The entire house is available to the guest. There is a double size shed in the back yard that is lockable for anyone who has a trailer, tools, tinny or a small campervan to store on the property. Other things to note Our guests have the convenience of using our home with no cleaning costs added to the total price. Our guests also have the convenience of using the washing machine and dryer with no extra fees added to the total price. Our guests can ask if early access or late departure is possible.
