The Main House Daylesford was built in 1852, making it one of the oldest houses in Daylesford. Located a short 1 minute walk to town it is in the perfect position. Beautifully sighted, classic 3 pitch colonial residence with front, side and rear verandas. The property sleeps 6 people making it perfect for family holidays or larger groups. Please note: The Main House is for checked in guests only. The space The Main House Daylesford has been fully restored, with new bathrooms which include cast iron baths, original floorboards, colonial windows, hydronic heating in addition to open fires. A central dividing hall between bedrooms and living room ensures peaceful sleeps. The 4 light and airy bedrooms all have something special to offer, whether, it be an open fire, a private courtyard, an ensuite or you get to sleep in a an amazing original french bed, no one will be disappointed. There is an open plan living room with massive fireplace and a separate small reading room for those wanting to get away. The reading room also boosts a beautiful original open fire. The large dining table seats 12 people and the country kitchen is perfect for cosy intimate gatherings. We have all the essentials, tv's, netflix, duck down feather couches, electric blankets that will keep you all warm and cosy throughout your stay. There is also a large rear decking area, with outdoor dining and bbq facilities. As described by one of our guests, "staying here is just magical". 3 x Bedrooms BED CONFIGURATION - The Courtyard Suite - 1 King bed (open fire and private courtyard) The Linen Suite - 1 King or 2 singles (direct access to bathroom 2) The Garden Suite - Queen Bed (direct access to bathroom Freshly ironed bed linen, towels and toiletries supplied On site secure parking Fresh Bread, Eggs, and a few breakfast goodies provided. Sorry pets not allowed. No parties, gatherings or noisy guests or loud music. This is a country home for chilled relaxed guests. Anyone breaking rules will loose their deposit. FREE Wifi Guest access The entire Main House, front and rear garden and deck areas. Other things to note In Winter bring warm clothes and boots if walking in the forests. Summer, bathers for swimming in the lake or the local pool.
