' The Studio' is entirely separate to the main house on the property, which is located further up the driveway. The space 'The Studio' is set amongst beautiful native bush and has a private outdoor courtyard where you can enjoy breakfast or a pre-dinner drink, before experiencing local Matakana life- whether it be enjoying one of the many restaurants, cafes or pubs or heading along to the popular Matakana Markets in the weekend. 'The Studio' is also perfect accommodation if you are attending a wedding in the Matakana region. There is ample parking and a turning bay for taxi pick ups and drop offs. Situated on a 1.5 hectares, the property features an orchard on terraced hillside and an extensive garden, including native Pohutakawa trees (which are several hundred years old) and unique bird life. Guest access 'The Studio' is a large bedroom with separate bathroom attached. There are basic kitchen facilities, including a fridge, kettle and toaster, as well as a lounge space within the bedroom, where you can sit and relax. Milk, Matakana Coffee Roasters plunger coffee and a selection of teas are all provided free of charge. All linen is provided. There is also a private outdoor courtyard for you to enjoy. Other things to note We have a beautiful dog 'Zsazsa', who is a golden retriever/ border collie cross. She is very friendly and may come to visit you, but only if you would like her to! She is based up at the main house on the property, further up the driveway from 'The Studio'.
