My place is close to Hele's sandy and pebble beach with views over the Hele/Berrynarbor hills set back from the Ilfracombe-Combe Martin road and on a bus route to Ilfracombe and Combe Martin. You’ll love my place because of the accessibility to excellent coastal walks on the SW Coastal Path. Beach and cafe, Pub within 4 mins walk, and our 16th century working mill Hele Cornmill and tearoom just 3 mins walk away. My place is good for couples and families with lots to discover in North Devon. The space Tollgate Cottage is a two bedroom cottage with fully equipped kitchen and cosy lounge with wood burner stove. There is a double bedroom with double bed and a smaller bedroom with full sized bunk beds. The bathroom has a bath with separate shower over. There is a small patio garden with garden furniture and on road parking. Guest access The whole of the cottage is available for a private booking with self check in key safe. Other things to note Please note, we provide bedlinen, bathmats, tea towels and essentials such as tea, milk, shower gel but PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS. Ideal for a relaxing holiday - beach 4 mins walk, pub serving good food 3 minutes walk plus additional pubs nearby. Lots of lovely countryside and coastal walks from the cottage door. There is a local bus service to Ilfracombe and Combe Martin. There are 3 electric car charging points at Hilsborough carpark near the swimming pool just 1/4 mile away. Children will enjoy nearby attractions such as Watermouth Castle, the Dinosaur and Wildlife park, Woolacombe beach, play area in Ilfracombe, rock pooling at Hele and Combe Martin, crabbing in Ilfracombe. Coasteering, paddle boarding hire and kayaking at Hele beach and Combe Martin. Boat trips (fishing and wildlife watching) from Ilfracombe including trips to Lundy on the Waverley. Award winning cream teas and cakes at our 16th century Cornmill opposite.
