Melness Cottage

Melness cottage is a comfortable studio style accommodation on a 2500 acre farm 33km out of Goondiwindi. The cottage is separate to the main house and you will have private entry. It is only 300m from the highway to our entrance. There is a fire pit area to enjoy during your stay and the creek is a short walk from the cottage. For meals there is a microwave, Weber BBQ, bar fridge, kettle and toaster. A few basic breakfast supplies can be provided. The space The cottage was originally a shearer's hut and has been relocated and renovated. Many guests have enjoyed the peace and quiet at Melness without having to travel too far off the highway. There is often plenty of birds flying about in the mornings and afternoons particularly along the creek. There is space for a cot or single mattress/swag if travelling with a younger child.
