The Baby Gorleen of Katoomba

Welcome to 'The Baby Gorleen' The little sister of the much loved and popular ‘Gorleen’, The Baby Gorleen is a fully self contained 2 bedroom stand alone apartment. You’ll love our place because of the cosiness and the historic setting in one of the most iconic homes in the Blue Mountains. This place is ideal for couples, adventurers, travellers and families. Offering close proximity to the Blue Mountains main attractions including - The 3 Sisters, Scenic World, Bush Walks, Cafes and Shops. The space The apartment is situated on the ground level of the house (as shown in the pink box), with direct street access to the front door and no interaction or shared spaces with other guests staying at ‘The Gorleen’ The location of our house 61 Lurline, Katoomba - the same street as the popular 3 Sisters, it is only 12 minute walk from the train station, 1 minute stroll to Katoomba St, including major shops like Big W, Coles and Aldi and 20 minutes walk to the 3 Sisters. Please be aware that from Lurline Street there is about 20 stairs to walk up to get to the front door which may not be clear on the photos. Some guests like to know this information. Please also be aware we only have street parking along Lurline Street or across the road in the RSL carpark. Katoomba RSL. The house is also directly across the road from the brand new Katoomba RSL which offers great dining and drinking all year round and also has a huge car park which could be used by guests. During winter it can get very cold in the Blue Mountains (with temperatures dropping below 0 degrees during the evenings). Our place is very warm with an air conditioning system and 1 heater in each of the bedrooms for added comfort. We also have very warm blankets and extra blankets for all the beds.
