This is a private home limited to one group per day, featuring dishes made with vegetables grown with natural salt by the owner. We serve dinner and breakfast at the table together. It is a comfortable modern traditional house built about 40 years ago. The host, Kobuchi and Terada, run a design office called MIGRANT together, and the second floor of this house is used as the office. We also run a shared house next door. We want to share a good time with those who come to experience the goodness of Azumino, with hobby cooking and hospitality, around the dining table. We limit it to one group per day, so you can relax and enjoy your stay without worrying about other people. Two families of friends can also stay together. Since it is a home-stay type, rather than complete privacy, it is recommended for those who want to know what life is like in Azumino, and those who enjoy communicating with us. In the yard, we have 7 chickens and 1 duck that are free-range. On weekends, you can also enjoy a barbecue or a meal around the fireplace. You can also harvest at a nearby natural farm. Please come and experience fun country life! The space There are two bedrooms for guests. The owner sleeps in the piano room. There is a dining room where you can enjoy gathering around the table, a sunken kotatsu where you can relax, and an open hearth. The second floor features the owner's design office and a coworking space. It is fully equipped with a copier, WiFi, etc., so remote work while feeling the nature of Azumino is also recommended. Guest access The first floor is freely accessible. The second floor is an office and coworking space. Feel free to use it during your stay. You can also play freely in the garden. During your stay On weekdays, I work in the same space, so I would like to spend time with people who enjoy chatting. On days off, I will do my best to entertain you without working at the office. I'd love to hear about the best places in Azumino, work, the mountains, the outdoors, and more.
