The Picker's Hut- Luxury Vineyard stay

The Picker's Hut is a luxury vineyard escape located in Broadmarsh (40 minutes from Hobart). Originally built to house and train soldiers before World War Two, this historic hut has found its new home on a working vineyard, Invercarron. The north-facing location captures the beautiful all-day sun. You can sit at the breakfast bar and admire the vines, or you can perch on the deck, observing the landscape of the valley and see if you can spot the farm workers herding sheep or plowing paddocks. The space With one Queen bedroom and one King bedroom (which can be arranged as two singles), the hut provides exceptional comfort for up to 4 guests. A luxurious bathroom with double vanity, deep bath and separate toilet. A spacious deck, with outdoor dining and BBQ. ​ Guest access When staying at the Pickers Hut you are staying on a working merino sheep farm and within the confines of a fully operational vineyard. You will have space to roam and wander and see the farm chores being carried out for the day. The privacy of our guests is paramount, however at certain times workers will need to be in the vineyard and occasionally need to drive past the Hut, everyone is aware of our guests and their request for privacy. Other things to note A basket of locally produced goods is included in your stay, sourdough bread, free range eggs, homemade jam, butter, milk, tea/coffee, cheese and biscuits, bottle of our Invercarron wine, along with all the usual pantry staples.
