The Shack at Connellys Marsh

The Shack is a new build at the beachside community of Connellys Marsh. If you like a quiet get away which is close to attractions (Tasman Peninsular, loads of beaches, hikes, local eateries selling freshest of oysters, wineries) then this is the place for you. You’ll love our place because of the views the location and it is RELAXING. Our place is good for couples, small groups for long weekend get aways and families (with kids). 40 mins from Hobart & 30 mins from the Hobart Airport. The space The Shack is an open plan light-filled space with two living areas, kitchen and dining that opens up to a deck over looking the bay. The space is large and great for entertaining and relaxing. The kitchen is fully equipped with an induction cook top, wall oven and loads of storage. TV and DVD player as well. A wood heater keeps the place warm on cool evenings when the sun goes down. The wrap around deck allows you to follow the sun and the bbq area at the back of the house is nearly always sunny. Two double bedrooms, two bathrooms (one with laundry), one bedroom has a single bed and bunk beds and the fourth bedroom has two single beds. Guest access Guests have the whole house. The guest shelf in the pantry is stocked with tea, coffee and sugar. Soap, washing up liquid and loo paper are also provided. Please do not use fishing equipment. Other things to note Dunalley is a 10 min drive away and you can pick up the basic essentials. We recommend getting groceries in Sorrell, as you have to drive through Sorrell to get to the shack, perhaps get some groceries on your way. There are plenty of basics at the shack, but if you want some extras i.e.; chocolate hehe, then stop on your way. Bangor Wine and Oyster Shed is near by and is open daily - delicious fresh oysters and local wine + other delicious food. The Dunalley Fish Market serves up fish and chips which can be taken away or eaten by the canal. There are a few wineries in the area as well and the Coal Valley Wine region is about 1/2 an hour away. Registration Details No. DA 2019 / 365 - 1
