A light and airy apartment ideally located in the beautiful and historic Old Town, this apartment provides a perfect base for sightseeing and exploring. The neighbourhood offers a never-ending maze of curiosities, enticing eateries, boutique shops and age-old drinking dens. During the world-famous Fringe Festival, the area becomes the epicentre of artistic activity within the city. The space Centred at the heart of Edinburgh's Old Town lies this stylish, recently renovated self contained apartment. It is on the 3rd floor with 68 steps leading to it. With living room, dining area and double bedroom, the apartment also boasts a fully fitted kitchen and bathroom. The open plan living area is tastefully presented with original sash and case windows providing the room with an abundance of natural light, however there may be some street noise during busy periods. Decorated with contemporary artwork and comfortable furniture. The fully fitted kitchen includes an electric hob and oven, microwave oven, washing machine, fridge/freezer, Nespresso coffee machine as well as crockery, cutlery and cookware for all self catering needs. The attractively presented bedroom is well proportioned with a comfortable double bed and fitted mirrored wardrobes which provide convenient storage. All bed linen and towels are provided. The modern shower room comprises of a three piece suite. Towels, shower gel, shampoo, body lotion, soap and 2 rolls of toilet paper are all provided. It should be noted this is a historic building with no elevator access. Apartment is located on third floor of a residential block, access is via stairs. Guest access Guests have access to the entire apartment for the duration of their stay. Other things to note EDINBURGH'S LOW EMISSION ZONE Edinburgh's LEZ comes into effect on June 1st, 2024. This property is within the LEZ. If you intend to come by car please check out the restrictions imposed by Edinburgh City Council otherwise you may face a fine. Parking charges are applicable 7 days a week within Zones 1 to 4. Please do check rules and pricing before you park. Other areas of the city may offer free on-street parking, however please do check signs on the street. Evergreen Property will not be held liable for any parking charges incurred. PARKING - NCP Holyrood Road - 7 minute walk away. - Q-Park Quartermile - 11 min walk. - Radison Blu Hotel, 6 min walk - Parkopedia and JustPark - Travelodge, 6 min walk - Parkopedia max stay 3 days. - Pay and display Market Street, 9 min walk - Mon-Sat 8:30am~6:30pm, Sun 12:30~6:30pm, max stay 3 hours. - Airport Park & Ride => If you don't intend to use your car at all, this property is very central, so it may be better to leave your car at the airport Park & Ride and take a tram into the centre. - JustPark private driveways => Some Edinburgh residents do rent their driveways when not in use. You can check JustPark . com if interested. They tend to be cheaper than the large commercial parking sites but may not be as secure. - RingGo => For up to date pricing, please refer to the RingGo app. It will show the nearest available on-street pay and display parking with space availability and pricing. If you register a credit card to the app, there will be no need to search for spare change and you can easily add on time remotely. WORK HOURS -communication Evergreen Property has staff managing the Airbnb App from 8 am to 10 pm 7 days a week. Please do not expect an answer outside of these hours. After 5pm, we would ask all guests to message initially via the App, not phone or text as the app is monitored by evening staff and the phone number is for emergencies only. Please also note before booking, that Check in runs from 4 pm to 10 pm. We generally do not allow check ins after 10pm so if you think you may arrive after 10pm, please message us before booking. TOILETRIES Whilst we endeavour to have hand soap, shampoo etc at each property, this is not always possible due to logistics. And, if you have a favourite brand of toiletry we would urge you to bring your own. Many properties have refillable (not recyclable) toiletry containers - if they are empty, please alert us to this but DO NOT recycle. TAP WATER Edinburgh tap water is safe to drink. There is no need to buy bottled if you do not wish to. TRAVEL ADAPTORS Please bring your own adaptors. These are not provided. LICENSING This property has an existing short let licence and is approved to operate. TRAVEL INSURANCE Lastly, we advise you to take out appropriate travel insurance against the need to cancel your trip etc. DUVETS/BLANKETS Please note that we only supply one duvet per bed. If you require an extra duvet you may request one in advance, however there may be an extra charge and this is also subject to availability. FORGOTTEN ITEMS If you require any forgotten items to be returned there will be a £25 administration fee plus the cost of postage. This should be paid directly to Evergreen Property. Details will be shared when required. ALLERGIES OR ANY HEALTH CONDITIONS If you have any allergies or any health conditions we should know about please do inform us at booking.
