The bedsit is on the north facing slopes of Parnell 5 minutes walk from the village. Completely self contained with its own access from a sunny deck, it has a large sunny bedroom/living area, a "kitchen in a cupboard", queen size bed and en-suite. There is a desk with a view of Mt Victoria, North Head and Rangitoto Island in the Hauraki Gulf. There is as a dedicated phone line and wireless internet access. The compact kitchen area has a small fridge, microwave oven, sink, toaster, kettle, with crockery and cutlery provided. Cupboard doors can be closed to hide the kitchen from view. There are two lounge chairs, and a television and cd player for relaxation. It is a pleasant room, decorated with style and taste. For long stay the studio/bedsit is serviced once a week. The linen and towels are changed and the room is cleaned. Guest access Close to city centre and public transport Parnell is only a few minutes drive from Queen Street in the central business district of Auckland. Public transport is excellent in this area. The Link bus route runs a circuit around the central city every 10 minutes Monday to Friday between 6am-7pm, and on Saturday 7am to 6pm. Outside these times it runs every 15 minutes ( including Sundays) until 11.30pm. The nearest stop is just a few hundred metres away. Parnell is within walking distance of the Auckland Domain and War memorial museum. Also close are Auckland and Starship hospitals and the University.
