A vintage 1980 townhouse on the tip of the Balmain peninsular, with spectacular harbour views. Perfectly located for public transport and fireworks displays. The space A special treetop sanctuary, with glass-wrapped, double-height living area and two double bedrooms that enjoy intimate city and water views over Barangaroo, Darling Harbour and Pyrmont Bay. Relax on the wrap-around deck with breakfast and the native birds, or skip 2 mins to the local cafe for excellent coffee and breakfast with a view of the iconic Harbour Bridge. You might even catch the Saturday night fireworks while barbequing a feast on the Weber. Our house is unique, with its original character intact. It is unrenovated and not pristine, so you can relax and enjoy the space. Bathrooms are small; living area and bedrooms are spacious. Will suit guests who appreciate beautiful light, great vibes, peace, quiet and an unbeatable location. Guest access Feel right at home in this very special spot, a stone's throw from Sydney CBD. Enjoy cooking with a view in the well-equipped kitchen, a BBQ on the deck, or an array of great local restaurants. Free fast wifi throughout the house, including the lower bedroom that has a large desk and monitor for working. The house is kid friendly for ages 4+. Younger kids are welcome too, but you'll need to watch them on the stairs; there are two flights to the lower levels and another to the garage where the clothes dryer is located (garage will be occupied by our car while we're away). Other things to note The upper and mid levels have original, sliding french doors that open wide to the sea breeze. We don't have air conditioning, but do provide effective dyson.
