Location The inn is located in the Usagi area, about a 15-minute drive north of Izumo Taisha, which is famous for matchmaking. ※ There are no traffic lights or crosswalks on the route from the inn to Izumo Taisha Shrine, so there is no need to worry about traffic. Also, the route via Hinomisaki to Sagura to Uto Pass (13 km, 23 minutes by car) has a beautiful view of the sea and is especially recommended. Features Usatoge is a quiet, limited village with a population of about 20 people (as of 2022), and you can enjoy the tranquility as if you have rented the entire district. The inn was renovated in 2020 from an old private house built around 1890 (Meiji era), and some of the space has an elegant atmosphere that retains the charm of the time. Neighborhood information There are many popular fishing spots around the Utoko fishing port, and it is crowded with fishermen every day. We are a self-catering accommodation with a BBQ stove, grill, tongs, cutting board, knives, etc. available free of charge. So you can cook and enjoy the fish you catch in the garden, outdoor kitchen, or kitchen. The space The room is 14 tatami mats (8 tatami mats and 6 tatami mats are divided by a sliding door) in addition to the bedroom, there is a 4.5 tatami mat living room, kitchen, toilet, bathroom, and washstand.
