The space This bespoke tiny house was designed in 2015 by a young couple who know how little house is needed for a really good life. Takahē Nest was built by a tradesman who lives a block away, exquisitely finished in 2016. The Takahē Nest is named after a rare flightless bird that was thought extinct 100 years ago but was rediscovered in small numbers in the mountains you can see from your kitchen & living space. Although "techni-coloured turkey" in adult appearance, the Takahē chicks are jet black.
