We welcome you to our home that is a sweet retreat to the Apple Orchards. This traditional home in Cheog is every bit magical. The village teems with the traditional lifestyle of Himachal, giving itself a distinct flavour altogether. With this getaway, enjoy blissful landscapes and savour local delicacies prepared by the host as you take a rejuvenating break from the hullabaloo of the city life. The space Cheog falls just a few kilometers ahead of Fagu. While in this quaint village, you are bound to come across locals who live a peculiar life. They’re warm, simple, and well-rooted to their traditions. Making the village even more admirable are the gorgeous apple orchards that bloom across it. And to our delight, our home in Cheog is nestled in one such apple orchard itself. Guest access Entire House During your stay Mr. Sohan Thakur is an activist with a background in political-economics. A BDC member in the past, he now enjoys performing social work. He owns multiple poultry farms and apple orchards around the property and practices organic farming on a daily basis. His wife, Mrs. Ritu Thakur is an expert in making traditional Himachal dishes. Hence, the local cuisine served at the house is authentic and absolutely delicious. Other things to note - This homestay is open for families with kids, groups, and couples. - Our standard check-in time is 1 PM and the standard check-out time is 11 AM. - We only accept a government ID as valid identification proof. No local IDs shall be accepted at the time of check-in. - Smoking and usage of alcohol and drugs is strictly banned inside the property. - We believe in self-help and do not provide luggage assistance or room services. - Food served will be home-cooked. Please inform the property about your food preferences (Veg/Non-Veg) prior to your arrival at the property, so that the arrangements can be accordingly made. - Any special request regarding food or facilities should be intimated well in advance. - Quiet Hours are from 10 PM to 6 AM. Do not play loud music or cause nuisance, as the place is located in a village area. Nature and surroundings should be respected and cared for. -All prices mentioned as default are for 2 pax only. -If the group behaviour is deemed unfit at the property, the Zostel Property Manager, upon subjective evaluation, retains the full right to take required action which may also result in an on-spot cancellation without refunds. -Extra Bedding is subject to availability. Please inform the property prior to your arrival to confirm the same. Cost of extra bedding - INR 500 per person.
