Welcome to your cozy, private en suite room with a comfy double bed & some tasty Scottish treats. We have two friendly dogs who love the garden, so being dog-comfy is a must! Ideal base for walkers and explorers, with top Skye sights like Talisker Distillery, the Cuillin, and Fairy Pools nearby. Great local eats too! Please note: this is a room-only stay with no kitchen access & is unsuitable for anyone under 18, including infants. Guests are unable to charge electric cars at the property. The space Your spacious bedroom, with its own private entrance, has a double size bed with an en-suite shower room. Cosy up with a complimentary cup of tea or coffee after your day of exploring this fantastic place. Your bedroom and en-suite shower are totally private for your use. The rest of the house is private as this is our own personal space and living area and you have no access to this from your bedroom. You also have access to a dedicated seating area outside your room. This is an ideal sun trap on the days the sun shines in Scotland and a great area for an evening spot of star gazing. You will have a good wifi signal while staying with us. We would highly recommend downloading "off line" maps as areas on the island are not always as reliable for phone signal. Portnalong is situated in the central Minginish peninsula, making it ideal for exploring all of the beauty Skye has to offer. Glen Brittle Forest, Fairy Pools, Dunvegan Castle, Coral Beach, Macleods Tables & The Old Man of Storr are but a few things to see & do and only a short drive away. The idyllic main town of Portree, with its local amenities, is only a 45 minute drive away. No smoking on the premises! Guest access Sliding door allows a private entrance to your room. Other things to note We share our home with some much-loved pets — a curious cat named Lubo and two big, friendly dogs, Henrik and Gus. They’re full of enthusiasm and have free run of the garden, so you’ll likely see them out and about! If you’re not comfortable around dogs, this might not be the right fit — but if you are, you’ll find them to be cheerful company during your stay.
