Gecko Cottage is a 1 room unit with a dbl bed, suitable for a single person or a couple. The kitchenette has a fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee press, frother & toaster. The bathroom has a shower. There is a HDTV with full DSTV. We are approximately 40 km's from both OR Tambo and Lanseria International Airports, easily accesible from the R21 and N1 highways. Southdowns, Irene Village, Doornkloof and Centurion Mall's are all within a 5 km radius. The space Birdlovers can enjoy ring neck parrots, grey loeries, hornbills, crested barbets, woodlands hoopoo’s, Piet-my-Vrou’s and if lucky the occasional owl howling or Harrier Hawk screeching in the garden. And if you enjoy the outdoors, sitting with a glass of wine in front of a little braai fire, listening to the frog song from the nearby pond can be very relaxing! Guest access Gecko Cottage has private access and secure parking behind a gate in the boomed Village of Irene. Other things to note We are close to the Irene Country Club for a game of golf, tennis, padel or squash. Virgin Active and Planet Fitness both have branches nearby. The working Irene Dairy Farm and Deli is 2 minutes away and a great venue for business or social meetings. A variety of restaurants are also located within a few km radius. Yet, when you’re in you cottage, the outside world might just as well not exist. You’ll have absolute tranquility in nature!!!
