This lovely cottage is situated near lake and has a greenery view. The house is fully leased. We have kingsized bedroom and one doubleroom with fan. Available internet (4G) 24/7 for free and laundryservice (Rs 1500). The kitchen is fully equipped to cook own meals. We can invite you, how to make a SriLankan curry. The cottage is situated 15 minutes by walk from the beach on Galle Rd. and the train station Rathgama. Scooter /motorbike are for rent. We arrange (day) tours and airport pickup/drop The space The house is fully leased and is fully accessible including the garden. The house have two bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, spacious bathroom and cozy living-room. The house is situated near Galle road, and is situated in a jungle appearance, with flowers and banana trees, a peaceful area. The veranda is lovely to have your breakfast or tea. The kitchen have a water filtered tap, toaster, fridge and gas cooker where you can prepare your own meal. The bathroom has hot water and double shower. For the 2 bedrooms we have clean bed sheets, mosquito nets, fan and a wardrobe. You can stay alone or come with your friends. Maximum the place fits 4 people. If you want to sleep outside in a hammock or tent is this entirely to you. We can provide mosquito net and bed-sheets. We like to have conversation with our guest, to provide all information we have about Sri Lanka, sightseeing, culture, economics and so on. We live in small house near to this place. Right from the house you can see varan, mongoose, monkey or a lot of different kinds of birds. The life in jungle starts with sunrise and changes in the night time. You can hire at our house a scooter or motorbike if you like, for RS 1000 one day. (look our photos). In Sri Lanka we have very good public transport system. You can come from Airport Colombo to Hikkaduwa (Narigama) by taxi (around 100$/70EUR), bus (2$) or train (2$). For a short distance you can also use tuk-tuk (from Rahgama train station to Narigama beach 2,50$). Please check the schedule of the train in advance, for this purpose find online website of sri Lankan railway. We can provide fresh coconut for you upon request. Guest access The cottage can be rented completely. Each room has access to the living room, bathroom and kitchen. And the garden can be used too, for camping or BBQ. You can rent a scooter and/or motorbike. We do arrange (day) tours to Kandy, Pinnawalle (Elephant orphanage), Dambulle, Sigiriya and Negombo. We can bring with airco car to/from airport. Other things to note As the cottage is located near jungle, we have visitors like peacocks, ants, fireflies and monitor near the house.
