Pretty traditional townhouse, with terraces

Full of character, Casa Maria is a three bedroom, two bathroom, old Mallorcan townhouse for 6 people. In a quiet street, with parking nearby, within a few minutes walk of the central square - Placa Major, and the Calvary steps. We're gradually making improvements, mixture of old and new, we hope you'll find Casa Maria a perfect home for your holiday. The space Casa Maria has a pretty courtyard garden, with oleanders, a banana palm, bougainvillea and hibiscus. Accessed from the courtyard is a spacious covered terrace on the first floor, with a dining table and easy chairs, and a lovely view of Puig de Maria. A further roof terrace with sun-loungers and umbrella, is perfect for an evening drink or sunbathe. The interior of the house is a mixture of modern and antique furniture, and we've refurbished with colourful fabrics and posters, and small personal items. On the ground floor a spacious hall with desk area (room for a few bikes), leads through an open archway to the lounge, and through patio doors to the central courtyard. A shower room and toilet are accessed from the back hall. The well-equipped kitchen (fridge freezer, dishwasher, gas hob and oven, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, iron), leads to a large dining room at the back of the house, with a further door to the courtyard. A small portable barbecue is provided. There's also a cosy front room with a sofa, large satellite TV and dvds. Wifi included. We have air-conditioning in all three bedrooms and the living room. On the first floor are three double bedrooms, a large bathroom with bathtub and separate shower, a covered dining terrace. The main bedroom has it's own terrace with a small table and chairs, also accessed from the courtyard. A further set of stairs lead to the roof terrace. The washing machine is located in the store room behind the bathroom. Tea, coffee, milk, basic kitchen and bathroom supplies, and a welcome bottle of cava, are included. Please bring your own beach towels. The house has open-stairs in the living room, so not really suitable for young children. Guest access Entire house, key box entry. Other things to note Air conditioning is very expensive, please turn off when not at home. The house has an open staircase in the living room, and further stairs to both terraces, therefore not suitable for small children.
