The house is situated in the environmental friendly village of Ruwanwella. Around the house there are lots of trees and plants, sometimes you can see monkeys jumping on the trees. There is a large living room with a balcony where you can sit and relax. There are three bedrooms, one bathroom and a kitchen. My place is excellent for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids). My family lives on the ground floor so you will be able to participate in local activities if you want to. Other things to note The environment is calm, green, and located in the heart of the woods at the end of a dead-end road in an untouched, non-touristic village. You can go on hikes through small forests, walk along the riverbank, and visit nearby villages. My place is close to Kitulgala (20 minutes away), where you can enjoy white-water rafting, Pinnawala (1 hour away), where you can visit an elephant orphanage, and Adam's Peak (2 hours away), which is a perfect hiking spot offering one of Sri Lanka's greatest views.
