A quiet weekend getaway close to the expressway, markets & restaurants. It's a spacious fully furnished 2-BHK with a/c bedrooms & a fully functional kitchen. The idea behind this passion project is to encourage quality time & conversations with friends & family. It's when being busy just doesn't count as an excuse to live. There is high-speed WiFi & a Smart Android TV. There is table tennis, badminton, carom & quite a few board & card games. There's sheesha (carry your own flavours) & a real coal grill for the DIY types (coal for the BBQ is chargeable). The place has a nice rooftop where you could grill, smoke a sheesha, or even get wet if it's rainy season! We have plastic chairs & tables for outdoor seating. Digital Detox is encouraged. Wait there's more! Fully furnished with a fully functional kitchen with gas, refrigerator, quality bone-china cutlery & basic utensils (Please note: no condiments or food items are provided). A home stay with hotel amenities: INVERTER BACKUP (though there are no outages), toiletries, towels, FREE 20 liters mineral water per night of booking, high quality 6" foam mattresses & branded 4" foam extra beds. A deposit of Rs.7,000 will be required before check in. The deposit will be returned in full if there's no damage to the property. You can pay it in cash on location or digitally. In case of digital, it'll be refunded within 15 mins to an hour of your checkout. Even if you're just passing by, drop in to say hello! We love great food & conversations. P.S: with each passing month, we will be providing additional amenities & facilities. Guest access The complete villa. Ground floor has a large living room, kitchen & bathroom. On the first floor there are two bedrooms with attached bathrooms. Above the bedrooms, there is an open air terrace. Other things to note Accessing the place: 1) The society is about a minute away from the Lonavala exit, so take the Lonavala & NOT the Khandala one. It's the second one if you're coming from Bombay & the first from Pune. 2) Once you enter the society premise (it's a small slope down from the main street), just take the second left & our premises are the last three houses on the left. Distance from Market/City Center: 1) The market is a 5 min drive tops. 2) In the local market area, all basic food stuff like biscuits, water, snacks, even vegetables or eggs for breakfast are easily available. Or if you prefer home service, our caretaker will fetch it for you for a cost. Travelling around: 1) It's best to have your own vehicle. 3) If you don't have one, let us know in advance & we can arrange a local guy for market or sight seeing. Their charges vary depending on how long you need them & which places you need to go. We don't arbitrage on taxi prices, but will help you in the best way possible. Seasons & Best Time to Travel: 1) This destination is a favourite from June-Feb. That's basically about 4 months of rain starting June where Jul-Aug can be very heavy. So if you love the rains, this time is for you. Winters start from about Dec to Feb when the weather is very pleasant. Do note, winters here mean anywhere from 10-20 degrees centigrade. So if you're travelling from countries where winters are really winters, this is probably just spring weather. 2) While no matter when you are travelling, as this is one of the easiest getaway from Bombay & Pune, weekends can lead to serious traffic jams & crowding of restaurants & tourist places. But the property is couched in a cozy corner for you to enjoy a quiet weekend with friends & family. Things to carry: 1) Do carry mosquito repellents even though the house is adequately equipped to give you a good night sleep. After all, we are the intruders with all the greenery around. 2) You can bring raw food to cook if you're travelling locally as the kitchen is fully equipped. 3) If you're travelling during the rainy season (June-Sept) it's advisable to have waterproof shoes & easy to dry clothes (synthetic, polyester, lycra). Rains can get very intense. Food: 1) We don't provide food. 2) We have a fully functional kitchen where customers can carry their own food, heat & eat, cook their own meals or order from local restaurants as Zomato delivers from across Lonavala. 3) Also, we have a caretaker who can cook for you (if she has the time that particular day) and you can directly pay her for her services. 4) If you have a car, then from fine dine to dhabas, it's all a few minutes away.
