Cosy Cabin By The Yarra River

A cosy cabin perfect for relaxing getaways, the Yarra River is just a stroll outside the property. Onsite massage available. Bikes provided; it's just short ride or walk into the township of Warburton. Perfect for a little peace and quiet! The space Nestled in a quiet corner of the world, your personal cabin, which is quite small, is separate from the main house. The cabin has a very comfortable double bed, and just enough room either side, hence its name 'cosy cabin'. The cabin is situated directly behind the main house with a shared court yard, it is our endeavour to provide privacy for a weekend away. A unique weatherboard home, this space is simply perfect for couples or a single wanting to enjoy a little time away in the beautiful setting of the Yarra Valley. Essentials are all provided for your stay. Your bathroom is completely separate, with items available for your use. You may enjoy the television within the room, or perhaps you may like to sit out on the outdoor setting and read a book? Tea and coffee are provided. A small outdoor fridge, sink for your use are available in the patio area. Very simple cooking is possible in the patio space. You are most welcome to enjoy the beautiful gardens within the property. The beautiful Yarra River is just outside of the property. Start your day with one of the various walks available, either around the river, up to the Millgrove lookout, or along the famous Warburton trail. If the weather is warm, enjoy the local waterhole, and cool off in the refreshing waters of the Yarra. The township of Warburton is just a couple of kilometres away. With push-bikes available for your use, you can easily ride into town to visit the various cafes and restaurants in the main street. Warburton has its own historic cinema, which you may want to visit during your stay. The Yarra Valley is internationally renowned for its world-class wine. If you have a car, you can easily fill your day tasting the wonderful produce of the land, whether it be wine, cheese or chocolate! Collect some goodies during the day and enjoy a feast down by the river or on the outdoor patio. Guest access The cabin is completely separate from the main house, albeit directly behind the main residence, with prior notice, you are welcome to use the kitchen amenities. Other things to note The cabin overlooks a shared courtyard area, we look to provide privacy by closing the main residence's blinds, although we are happy to chat and assist you with any questions you may have. I have four grown 'children', three do not live at home but from time to time come to visit and stay at the family home.
