Just a 10 min metro ride gets you right into the hub of downtown, museums and shopping. A melting pot of people from cultures all over the world mixed with "true" parisians, this area is one of the rare places in Paris where the neighbours look out for you, the grocery store employee runs out to say hi and offers you a cup of coffee and the tailor comes to your apartment to pick up the work! Several bike rentals (Vélib) around the corner. 15 min on foot to Sacré Coeur Basilica or to the famous St.Ouen-fleamarket. 10 min metro ride to downtown Châtelet and Notre Dame.
