The space Please note: We are located on the 3rd floor of a historic tenement building accessed only by stairs, there is no lift in the building. A bright, warm and spacious apartment which has recently undergone full refurbishment and modernisation. A large open plan living room/kitchen/dining area which boasts dual aspect views overlooking Edinburgh's famous Royal Mile on one side and picturesque Cockburn Street on the other. The kitchen has been upgraded with new modern high gloss units. All newly installed appliances which include a dishwasher, fridge, ceramic hob, oven/grill, microwave, toaster and kettle. There is plenty of cupboard space with use of crockery, cutlery, glassware, cooking utensils, pots and pans. Complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits are also provided. The living room features 3 large original sash windows which allow plenty of daylight to flood in. Furnishings have not been compromised with a large comfortable Chesterfield style sofa, footstools, tables, luxury soft furnishings and a large flat screen smart TV with access to Freeview channels, Netflix etc. There are numerous double sockets and USB charging points within the living room area The bedroom is modern and warm with a large inset window overlooking the Royal Mile. Enjoy a good night's sleep with a comfortable king size bed (fresh clean linen provided). The room is complimented with bedside tables, table lamps, a large wardrobe with ample storage space, mirror and hairdryer, large flat screen smart TV and USB charging points. The bathroom is bright and well appointed with a clean white ceramic back to wall WC and sink, large shower enclosure, heated towel rail, large wall to wall mirror and downlighting. Towels and complimentary toiletries are provided. With our guests in mind, we have ensured that comfort is foremost: modern digitally controlled heating is installed throughout, internal insulation and secondary double glazing keep the apartment warm and cosy. Luxury deep pile carpet and soft vinyl flooring throughout. Dimmable, feature and accent lighting give a homely ambiance. An ironing board and iron are also provided for guests to use. WiFi is available throughout the apartment free of charge. Other things to note Please note our apartment is on the 3rd floor of a historic tenement building only accessible via stairs. There is no lift in the building. There are other Airbnb apartments in the stair so guests should expect some noise from visitors coming and going. We are located within the city centre so some noise can be heard from nearby bars and restaurants. But saying that, we have exceptionally good double glazing! Registration Details EH-69635-R
