The Gite of Chateau d'Archambault

The owners of Château d'Archambault are offering the opportunity to stay in the old guardian’s house, an independent lodging dating from the 18th century, a kilometre away from the medieval village of Noyers-sur-Serein, one of the most beautiful villages of France. Guests will have access to the Château park, with a pergola and play area. There is also a magnificent 15 x 3m heated pool, with a cover it is possible to swim under and a pool house with sauna, toilet and showers. The space The house has recently been redecorated and refurnished with vintage furniture and artworks, along with modern appliances and a fully equipped kitchen. The Gite's large living space opens onto a south facing terrace over the Château's formal garden. The two bedrooms include one double bed and three single beds in the attic room. The single bathroom on the ground floor has a large shower, along with a single toilet on the first floor. Guest access Guests will have access to the whole house, with their own key. They will also have access to the the beautiful 3.4 hectare park, with a shared BBQ. For guests with dogs, the park is not secured. We keep the gates open. The swimming pool and facilities are shared with the those staying in Château, which can number from 3 to 25 people. Other things to note The pool is at or above 24 degrees from March untill December. It is heated through a heat pump, so if it is very cold in March or December, the pool might not reach the desired temperature of 24 degrees. Sheets and bath towels are provided, but not pool towels. The second floor bedroom is only accessible by going through the first floor bedroom.
