Peaceful country gite, with pool for 2 to 8 people

Le Coudert gite nestles in the peaceful countryside of the Correze, near the Dordogne border. The lovely, four-bedroomed gite is between the villages of Segonzac and St Robert. The gite sits on a tree-lined drive surrounded by fields and woodlands, enjoying beautiful views and with no passing traffic. A large, private solar-heated pool, playroom and extensive gardens, with a petanque and dining area, enable you to relax or use it as a base to explore the many surrounding attractions. The space On the ground floor there is a large, fully equipped kitchen/dining room with a cosy log burner for winter use. A welcome pack of essentials is provided for our guests on arrival. The large split-level living room has ample seating with a corner sofa, a TV, DVD/CD player, plus extra seating with games and books for quiet moments. There is a separate downstairs toilet and an open-plan staircase to the first floor. At the top of the stairs, you will find a large landing/seating area, perfect for curling up with a book. There are 2 double bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms (these can be rearranged to sleep 4 couples). The 2 shower rooms have a toilet and sink. A baby bath is also available. An outside balcony and staircase can be accessed from each of the 2 double bedrooms and offers an extra area to enjoy your morning coffee and croissant. There are cots available on request. All bed linen, towels and pool towels are provided for your stay. Outside you will find a large parking space. Under-cover parking can be provided and electric cars can be charged at a small additional cost. There is a pretty covered outdoor dining area with a BBQ. A petanque area has proved very popular with families. A small patio area at the back of the gite offers another peaceful area to sit and relax. The stunning, private swimming pool is 12×5 metres and is surrounded by hedging and wooden decking with sunbeds, parasols and seating, all with amazing views. The pool is now solar-heated, but this obviously depends on the sun, and will be covered up during the winter months and reopened as soon as the weather allows. An outside clothes drier is provided and plenty of grassy areas for children to play. For hot days the well-established trees around the property provide welcome shade. There is a playroom with a table tennis table and a variety of indoor and outdoor toys for the children. There is also a fridge and outdoor picnic items for use around the pool. Wifi is available throughout the property. Sorry, no pets. Smoking is not allowed inside any of the buildings at Le Coudert. Other things to note We do not charge a cleaning fee and therefore on departure, the property is to be left in the same state that it was on arrival. A fee can be negotiated if requested. Thank you
