Welcome to La Pineta, which references our five magnificent pine trees just behind our cottage that seem to reach forever into the mountain sky! We are ideally situated in the glorious Blue Mountains and are very close to iconic bush walks, Cahill's Lookout and many others, and just a ten minute walk to Scenic World and other local attractions. La Pineta is a stylish, unique and charming little cottage nestled amongst the trees and offers an intimate, private and atmospheric space. Come Visit! The space Our guests have commented that once here,they don't want to leave.You will love the little space that is La Pineta, an ideal romantic escape or just right for one, we have put a lot of thought and care into making sure this a delightful, warm, cosy and romantic place to stay: a quality bed and linen, comfy sofa and a warm slow burning combustion stove for those chilly winter months. La Pineta is separate to our house, beautifully appointed, fully self contained and easily accessible with it's own private entrance. There is a kitchenette with everything you need to enjoy the space for short or longer stays as well as a washing machine for your convenience. Our place is a mix of old and new and quite eclectic. The beautiful cast iron wood fired heater is atmospheric and will keep you warm in the winter months. Outside is a lovely terrace nestled under a canopy of trees, with tables and chairs and BBQ for your use. The trees and gardens attract a myriad of bird life which is wonderful to experience, King Parrots, Black Cockatoos, White Cockatoos, Bower Birds, Wattle Birds and Honey eaters. We are approximately 10 minutes walk from Scenic World and the annual Sculpture at Scenic World in April and May and close to many glorious walks - Prince Henry Cliff Walk, Ruined Castle, Narrow Neck and the Furber Steps and it's a great space to stay and relax after the music festivals and eclectic arts events in the Blue Mountains area. We cannot accommodate children as we have a slow combustion heater and this poses a burn risk to young children and toddlers. We also do not accept pets because of allergens in the studio and birds and wildlife on our property. Guest access Access to the studio is down the drive, through the carport and your own gated entrance. Keys are accessible via a key safe at the gate and the code will be made available on booking. The entrance is well lit and all on one level. Guests are welcome to spend time in the garden, please help yourself to our gorgeous herb garden, and spend time in the lovely entertaining space in front of the studio set among the trees. great for reading and relaxing and spotting some our fascinating bird life. There is plenty of free parking on the street near the property. Other things to note We love to make your first night/morning easy and have supplied fresh milk, teas and coffee, so you can settle in for the first day at La Pineta. Netflix is available for your convenience and a variety of books and magazines if you want to snuggle in and read and relax.
