The Courtyard - in a beautiful rural location

The studio has a small kitchenette and a modern compact ensuite. It is fully furnished and equipped with everything needed for your stay, including free Wi-Fi and off-road parking. The stand-alone studio has its own entrance in a shared courtyard with the main house, situated on 2 hectares (5 acres) in a rural location 15-20 mins from downtown Nelson. We have cows, goats, chickens, a cat and a small aviary. You are welcome to explore the property and enjoy the views and birdlife. The space The studio is fully furnished, well equipped and functional. It has a TV (Freeview, Neon, Netflix, YouTube), iron and ironing board and hair dryer. There are additional blankets, hot water bottles and a heater for colder days. A modern remote controlled fan for when the days are hot. The kitchenette is suitable for making breakfast or snacks and is equipped with a microwave, fridge, toaster and kettle. There is a selection of crockery and cutlery for basic cooking needs. Beverages - tea selection, plunger and instant coffee, milk Condiments - salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, honey Toiletries - Bodywash, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, insect repellent, hand-wash, tissues Outside in the courtyard there are chairs and a side table under the veranda, they can be moved in and out of the sun as you wish. On the right of the garage is a patio area with an outside table and chairs to sit at overlooking the fields. This studio is perfect for couples. Although the courtyard area is shared with the main house, we like our own privacy and endeavour to respect yours. The inside of the studio cannot be viewed directly from the main house, and we close our blinds in the hallway for added privacy to the courtyard. Guest access Guests can access the courtyard, patio and garden. The field can also be accessed however ask before going so the goats and cows can be confined for the safety of both parties. Other things to note Although there are shared areas you are the only guests. As hosts we aim to keep a low profile and respect your privacy. We are more than happy to interact or keep our distance as required.
