Description
Welcome to the Serra de Grândola, a peaceful and serene area, perfect for those who like to be close to nature. The house is located in the village of São Francisco da Serra, with its small church, windmills and cork extraction workers. Nestled on the top of its hill, the house allows quick access to the lagoon of Santo André and the ocean (10km), the villages of Melides (15km), Grândola and Comporta. A car will be required. The space The house is a traditional Alentejo countryside house with its enormous huge fireplace, restored with care and respect of its original volumes and atmosphere. Far from the hustle and bustle of Comporta, here you'll appreciate the rurality, nature and authenticity of the place: no air conditioning, no TV, no wifi. The main house consists of a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom with shower, a large living room and a kitchen. The guest house offers a queen size bed, a desk and a bathroom with bathtub. The house has been designed by a French architect, who has kept all the charm of the Alentejana architecture while giving a contemporary character to the house. Ideal for one or two couples (not suited for children), the house and its garden will charm nature lovers, calm and starry evenings. A salt water swimming pool and an outdoor shower under a bunch of banana trees are at the disposal of the guests, inserted in a large garden composed of fruit trees, cork oaks and olive trees. A pergola will allow you to lunch in the shade or dine with the ocean visible on the horizon. Guest access Access to the whole property: house, guest house, swimming pool and entire land. Other things to note No fire allowed inside nor outside (even barbecues) Registration details 112518/AL
