Located in the rugged Southern Alps, in the headwaters of the Rakaia River, Glenfalloch Station, a beef and sheep property is a great place to escape for a couple of days away from busy life or a great start or finish of your travel before you depart Canterbury, well off well-travelled tourists routes. Just 90mins from Christchurch Airport or 50 mins from Methven. Glenfalloch is also the base for Methven Heli skiing. Self-check-in after 3pm . The space You need to bring little more than your toothbrush to enjoy your stay in our unique high country property. Whether you simply want to curl up with a book in front of our roaring firel, mountain bike through the surrounding countryside, our aim is to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The "Tinhouse" is a one-bedroom cottage, elegantly decorated with an open plan kitchen dining/living area heated by a Guest access Guests are welcome to roam the farm, by foot, mountain bike or 4WD or ski with Methven Heliski down the slopes of the Arrowsmith Range Other things to note It is a working farm so don't be surprised when you will hear perhaps 1000th of lambs calling their Mums but you are welcome to experience a day with us working here on the farm.
