Athenree Beach House: Three bedroom waterfront

Our piece of paradise is situated on the edge of the water in the Athenree Village (north end of the Tauranga harbour). The modern upstairs apartment is yours exclusively. From here you can: watch the sunrise over the water; enjoy the ever-changing view of the tide; watch the varied and rich bird life; or relax while reading or playing games from our library. Feel more energetic? Walk to the surf beach; visit the hot pools or take a walk on the water edge. We follow AirBnB cleaning protocols. The space The open plan kitchen living area enjoys all day sun with 180 degree views. The kitchen is well equipped with a convection oven/microwave, a single hob, dishwasher, refrigerator, essential utensils and place settings for seven. Groceries can be ordered through supermarkets in Katikati or Waihi. There is no charge for linen. Beds are made up with natural fabrics of pure cotton, or linen, while comforters are feather, cotton or wool. Bath towels and beach towels are provided. (Please note the bedroom configuration. The basic charge is for one bedroom) The window seat area is stocked with a wide selection of books as well as some puzzles and games for adults and children. A cot is available ( no charge), but please advise in advance, and bring your own sheets. We also have a highchair. Guest access You will have exclusive use of the apartment. Some areas of the garden are available to guests. The owners' private courtyard is not available to guests. However this area does have a BBQ and wonderful fire place, and can be hired by prior arrangement. Other things to note Children are very welcome here. Please be aware that we are waterfront with no fences to keep children away from the estuary. Our grandchildren have a wonderful time here, but we are very careful to watch the toddlers closely.
