The space Pendennis is a fantastic holiday home with four bedrooms spread over three floors, including one ensuite. Having been in the family for 25 years, it radiates Cornish charm. It is the perfect base for exploring the North Cornish coast. The beach at Trebarwith Strand is just a 20-minute walk down the hill, boasting beautiful cleanliness, superb surfing opportunities, and excellent rock pooling. Additionally, there are two pubs within walking distance. Set in an elevated position, a flight of gated steps leads up from the narrow lane to a small terrace and the front door, which opens to a hallway adorned with a mosaic tiled floor. To one side, you'll find a light and airy sitting room with a stripped wood floor, seating for six, a period fireplace, and lovely views from a large bay window down the valley to Trebarwith. At the rear of the house, there is a spacious pine-fitted kitchen with a slate floor and a long dining table next to a decorative old range. A couple of steps lead up to a useful utility room with a second sink, a W.C., and storage space for boots. A back door opens to a service area where a series of steps lead up to a landscaped patio built into the hillside. Please note that children will require supervision due to the changes in level. Carpeted stairs lead up from the entrance hall to the first floor, where you'll find a bathroom with a hand basin and a shower over the bath, a cloakroom W.C. with a tiny basin, and three bedrooms, all with natural wood flooring. A twin bedroom looks across at the rear garden, while two double bedrooms offer views of the countryside with a glimpse of the sea in the distance. Stairs continue up to the second floor, where a large bedroom features two single beds, wide open views from two skylight windows, and an en-suite shower room W.C. with a hand basin. There is parking available at the rear for two cars and one further car at the front of the house. The Port William Inn, adjacent to the beach at Trebarwith Strand, is just under a mile by road or a 20-minute walk via footpath. The charming Mill House Inn is a quarter of a mile down a fairly steep hill. Tintagel, a mile away, offers several shops, pubs, and restaurants in addition to the medieval Tintagel Castle. The area also features spectacular coastal walks. Please Note: Under Occupancy discount available for parties of four or less. Towels are included, but please bring a beach towel. We kindly ask that the house is not used for teenage or young adult parties, as it is best suited to relaxed family stays.
