Perched on a silent, green hilltop along the Western Ghats, this is your home away from home. Surrounded by breathtaking layer upon layer of mountains clad in the cool rainforest, our home is conceived as an aesthetic experience, an abode of the seasons, where the light and the breeze and the occasional songbird melt away the concrete walls, presenting you with that sense of detachment, that heightened sense of being we find hard to put into words. We would rather have you see that for yourself. The space Our home is a Diamond rated home stay (by the Department of Tourism - Government of Kerala), not too far from Kalpetta, in the verdant hills of Wayanad. The room has one double bed and a private washroom. The beds are comfortable with high quality pillows and linen. Located in a pristine valley, away from the dust and din of the city, our home is cool and serene. The Bus stop on the main road is almost three kilometers away from our property and Rickshaws are accessible from the main road. Our rooms are designed with a great deal of luxury, comfort and privacy in mind. The host family is always there to guide you on your experiments in Wayanad, the land of spicy hills where jungle meets country. The balcony/ open terrace terrace is ideal for guests to relax with a book or a cup of tea. Guest access All the common areas like dining hall, shared corridor and open terrace. Guests can use the computer, laundry and iron on request. During your stay We as a family stay in the same building and is always there to answer your queries on what to see, do and eat around. If you are interested in Kerala Cuisine, the host family is always ready to teach you cook a dish or two. We could also help you plan your travel around Wayanad by suggesting the best possible route in terms of saving both time and money. Other things to note We are strict vegetarians and cooking/ consumption of non vegetarian dishes are not allowed in the home. Smoking in public places in Kerala is a punishable offence. Smoking is permitted only in designated smoking areas. Use of contraband drugs is against the law and is not permitted on our property. You are permitted to carry alcohol or alcoholic beverages not above the quantity stipulated by law. Please do inform us if you are in procession of alcohol or alcoholic beverages during check in. Please ensure that you have the purchase bills in your custody for alcohol or alcoholic beverages you carry during your stay with us.
