Enjoy a getaway in a quiet fishing village fringed by scenic mangrove trees, in one of our well-appointed rooms complete with all the amenities to ensure a pleasant stay, and with a cosy ambience that will make you feel right at home! The space Welcome to Idaman Guesthouse, a cosy 7-room family-run place fronting a fringe of mangroves and the sea, located in Kuala Teriang, a fishing village on the western coast of Langkawi. 5 of our rooms are located on the main row which faces the mangroves and the sea, the same row which houses our reception area - your room is located on this row. Your booking is for a DOUBLE ENSUITE ROOM. You will be allocated either Room 5, 6 or 7 (3 & 4 are single rooms). Your room comes with a Super King bed, complete with plush bedding, and is furnished with a dresser and mirror, a fridge, small TV with basic channels, kettle and tea/coffee making facilities. The ensuite bathroom is equipped with instant hot shower, and some soap and shampoo as well as 2 towels are provided. Iron and toaster can be provided upon request. For additional 3rd person, a thin mattress or futon with bedding and a towel will be provided. Guest access Guests have access to their own room and its facilities, the 'manicured' mangrove shore front where one can sit, lay down and relax in the shade of the trees during low tide, and reception. Kindly respect the privacy of other guests and their rooms. Other things to note We are by the sea, but on a mangrove fringed coast, with no beach of our own. As mentioned above, we can arrange to take you to our restaurant which has its own quiet beachfront, but the guesthouse itself has no beach. Kindly consider this before booking. Our location is ideal for its seclusion, but if you are looking to be close to the nightlife and tourist spots, this might not be the best choice for you. We have no fans in the rooms, only airconditioning. We can also assist with arranging fishing trips, guided tours, island hopping and more. Kindly let us know what your needs are.
