Traditional Balinese Lumbung Kupu Kupu near Ubud

Jiwa Damai is a hands-on, socially responsible organic garden and retreat center. We are located amidst lush tropical vegetation in the heart of Bali (20 mins from Ubud). We provide a sanctuary in an idyllic, powerful environment where visitors can experience tranquility and re-connect to the life-giving qualities of the earth. The space The two Lumbungs in the garden are traditional Balinese open houses made of wood and bamboo. They are for the adventurous souls who would like to experience life in more direct contact with nature. Kupu Kupu and Alamanda can accommodate two or three people and are equipped with a private open air bathroom. The showers are unheated and in typical Balinese style. Sleeping area is protected with a mosquito net. There is a direct access from the road but the path to the pool involves staircase. Keeping with the eco-friendly environment, we provide cotton linen and natural soap and we also ask you to use bio degradable toiletries. You will have access to unlimited filtered water. Other things to note Full breakfast is available for $US 5.50 per person (American breakfast) and it can be served in Lumbung. Lunch and dinner can be provided as well upon request. We offer yoga and meditation classes with our resident teachers (when available). Guided garden tour is available for IDR 25 000 per person. Your stay contributes to our social education foundation Lagu Damai.
