Cosy Beach Retreat

This beach retreat is a cosy get away apartment for couples or singles in a quiet location in Blairgowrie/Rye. A place to relax and unwind. The property backs directly onto Tyrone Bushland Reserve, providing a private garden and bush outlook. It is located between 16th ocean back beach and Tyrone bay front beach. The space is self contained, consists of a bedroom, lounge and newly renovated kitchenette and bathroom area. The space Due to the coronavirus, we’re taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations. "COVID LOCKDOWNS & REFUNDS: If a government mandated lockdown prevents staying at our apartment, will consultation, we offer change of date as preferred option or a refund with guest initiated cancellation." Our dwelling is decorated with a touch of arty flair with personal, original art. The bedroom overlooks the reserve area. It is compact and has bedside draws and a small wardrobe. The patio area is an ideal place to relax and enjoy a quiet coffee, tea or wine, beer later in the afternoon. The lounge area consists of a large sofa, TV and small eating table with chairs. The bathroom has a shower and toilet, with a newly constructed multi purpose sink and bench outside the door. The new kitchenette has a microwave, kettle, toaster, two bench hot plates, saucepans, crockery, cutlery and other kitchen utensils. The space is cool on hot summer days and provides a Goldaire isolating free standing fan. A large oil heater and small electric heater are also available for cooler weather. The lounge overlooks the garden and entrance, while the bedroom view looks onto a secluded garden to the reserve. This very comfortable retreat is located on the lower level under our beach home dwelling. Our retreat is ideally set up for a couple, looking for a getaway break. The retreat is most suited for two people, but could accomodate a young child or infant. ## Your health is important, if you fear any COVID-19 symptoms prior, please seek testing and advice us accordingly. Guest access Please note, that since the Covid19 restrictions, it has been necessary to extend check in to 3 pm. allowing time for extra cleaning and sterilisation. The entire apartment area is yours. It has undercover parking and a parking area off the drive way. The apartment is located on the ground floor, with exclusive assess from the carport, under our beach home dwelling. On rare occassions we may be residing upstairs, when this applies, rates are reduced. Other things to note Starter Kit We have provided a few basic items to assist you on arrival. eg. coffee, tea, sugar, biscuits, small cereal pkts, oil and milk. There are unlimited activities to do in the area, from beaches, to coastal or country walks, exploring wineries, cafes and restaurants, diving, fishing or golf. For example. "The Millionaire's Walk" between Sorrento and Portsea, is just 10 minutes by car. The Tourist Information Centres are located in Sorrento near the theatre and Dromana.
