The North Wing of our main homestead, is self contained with private entry and private access to the main veranda, pool and alfresco area. With three bedrooms (sleeping 15), 2.5 half bathrooms and large kitchen/dining and living area, it is perfect for families and large groups. We are self efficient being off the grid, with our power and water coming from natural resources, we welcome you to experience an unique off the grid farm stay experience. The space Our property, Seven Hills Tallarook is an off the grid commercial goat and livestock farm servicing local and Melbourne high end restaurants with goat meat. The property is 600 acres, with the main homestead sitting in the North East corner, we allow you to explore the property and interact with the animals at your leisure. We have 9 pet goats that live in the house paddock to welcome you, along with three friendly dogs, one cats and handful of chickens that lay the best fresh eggs for those yummy breakfasts. Guest access The entire property, apart from private areas (marked) are available for guests to explore. Guests have private access to pool and alfresco area. Our family live in the adjoining house/wing to the homestead. You will have complete privacy and will not see us unless we are working outside with the animals or in the sheds as we are a working farm. Our area is blocked out by electric roller doors etc so we can’t see you and vice versa Other things to note As previously mentioned, our property is entirely off the grid therefore we ask guests to be mindful of their power consumption. We will never take away from your comfort, however, if you are not in the room, turn the lights off. If you are out for the day, please leave the air conditioner off, and/or heating too. We respectfully ask that your showers are also kept to a minimum also to reserve water levels in the tank. At times, we can operate of bore water, especially during Summer months due to the lack of rain. The water from our bore, can take slightly salty as it is high in minerals. The water is completely safe and drinkable. We use the water to cook, shower, in the toilets, for tea and coffee. However we would suggest bringing drinking water with you. Please note the spa is non operational and not included as part of the stay.
