Other things to note The building improvement works to Second Avenue Apartments (this building) are complete. There are now new windows and sliding doors installed, improving sound and thermal insulation. Upgrades to the reception are also complete. The Burleigh Heads area, especially along the esplanade, continues to experience a construction boom, including two sites on neighbouring properties. The height of new properties along the esplanade is restricted to 17 floors, works and the completed new buildings will not obstruct your views from the 21st floor. The crane for the construction will be moving every day and we are unable to guarantee where it will be situated. The Gold Coast Light Rail extension project is also now underway in the area, linking Burleigh Heads to Broadbeach along the Gold Coast Highway, with different works underway each day and night. Noise levels will change daily/weekly, so we cannot guarantee your stay will be noise free, but we can confirm the new windows and doors make a significant difference if there is any construction noise in the area. Nightworks are allowed as guided by council.
