L'Ocee: peace, space and privacy

On the upper floor is the living space. There are 4 spacious bedrooms; two single and two double, one of which has a shower and toilet en-suite. Each bedroom has its own fan. The beds are freshly covered and for every guest there is a towel. There is also a bathroom with a bath, a toilet, a sink and a hairdryer, and in the hallway there is a third toilet. We provide toilet paper and there is also a towel in every toilet. We provide hand soap in both bathrooms. For the smallest guests there are a step, a high chair and a baby bed available. You do need to bring your own bedding for this baby bed. The living room is cozily furnished with an electric fireplace, and a stereo set, suitable for CDs / MP3 and a TV with DVD player. This is connected to satellite, so many channels can be received. There is also a spacious number of (Dutch subtitled) DVD movies and there are several board games and puzzles. For the enthusiast, there is a small, English-speaking library. Wifi internet is provided. From the living room you can get through the large, glass sliding doors on the 18 m2 large, wooden terrace, equipped with several umbrellas, a garden table and chairs and a barbecue. The kitchen is fully equipped with bread maker, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, freezer, oven, toaster, Senseo and coffee maker, juice press, (rod)blender, kettle and all kinds of kitchen essentials. We will provide towels, kitchen towels and dishcloths, sanding pad and dish soap. On the lower floor there is a large pool table, a dart board, a table tennis table and an air hockey table. Furthermore, you will find a spacious collection of garden furniture, the washer/dryer, a closet full of toys and swimming pool toys. Also there are two bikes you can use. In the lovely garden of 4300 m2 you will find a big trampoline, a swing swing and a jeu-de-boules court. The 8x4 meter pool has a Roman walk-in staircase and is 0.80 - 1.75 deep. There is also a lounger for each guest. There are multiple umbrellas. Guest access The weekly market of St. Amand-Montrond on Saturday morning is the larger of the wide region. There is also a covered area with fresh cheese, fish and meat. In this town you will also find all the shops you need, cozy restaurants, cafes and terraces, two museums, a fortress and a water sports facility. At 5 km. from Urcay is Drevant, where you can admire Roman ruins and where you can sail over the Berry Canal with electric boats. To this canal you can also enjoy romantic cycling on the flat landscaped bike paths. On the river Cher you can go canoeing or fishing, just like on the many fens in the forest of Troncais. Within an hour and a half you are in the completely different landscape of the dead volcanoes of the Auvergne and the educational entertainment park Vulcania. Recommended is a visit to the abbey of Noirlac, where there are often modern art exhibitions. The gardens of Drulon are also beautiful and contain an extensive art collection, as well as the gardens of the donjon of Jouy. Surprising is the Grangeverrieres, an exhibition of a glass artist in St. Hilaire-Lignieres. Nassigny is the center of France. There's also an 18-hole golf course. Montlucon has a beautiful medieval center, a castle and there is a large covered children's playground, Athanor. There is a folder with tourist leaflets waiting for you in L'Ocee, so you will never be shy about a getaway and take full advantage of all the opportunities of the area.
