Less to host while looking like we increased our rate :( The space What was once a barn/shed, has been converted to a guesthouse which is situated at the back of the main house and separated by a carport and lawned area. It boasts a large family/games area with kitchenette, a separate spacious bedroom and ensuite size shower. The entire space is yours, including the bar area and pool table. It is not shared or accessed by others during your stay. At the back off the bedroom is a verandah and firepit area. Your carport parking is shared by us, but not other guests. External 240v single phase ppt if need to top up EVs. Need own Specific lead. Valley View is a small working farm 1km off the New England Highway, on the QLD/NSW border. We have a small number of cattle and sheep. There is our main house and 3 BNB houses at Valleyview, situated within walking distance of each other. Your accommodation is private, but not secluded, you are likely to see or hear other people as well as the usual farm animals and activities. Our animals are not the petting variety. They are usually in paddocks away from your accommodation. The unit is at ground level with one small step. See amenities for full list of inclusions. Laundry facilities- no Guest access You can access the pool by your patio steps. Go for a walk or find a quiet spot in the garden area to chill out. Other things to note Firewood is not provided in your booking. Bags are available at various places like the highway service station or mitre 10. Alternatively let us know when making booking and we can have bags available for you to buy. The toilet is septic and you must only flush toilet paper. Products labelled as ‘flushable’ are not suitable in septics. All household water comes from rain water tank. This is drinkable as it goes through 3 filters- paper, sand and ultraviolet. No free wifi available but wifi will work in this area. Items under the bar are not intended for use or consumption by guests. We are not a ‘farmstay’ and do not offer interactive farm activities like horse riding, cow milking etc. For safety and biosecurity we ask that guests don’t go walking in the paddocks.
