A modern west facing 2 bedroom semi self-contained basement nestled on the lower level of our family home has a private lounge, dining area and kitchenette and has a private lawn with room for kids to play on. Connections: About 10km to city - 1 min walk to bus stop and 13 min walk to train station connects you to all parts of Auckland. Shared cycle and walkway 1km away Kids playground 200m away Zoo and Motat 4km away Point Chevalier beach 5km away Western Springs Stadium 5km away The space -All bedding & towels cleaned and changed between guests. -Airconditioning Heatpump to keep guests cool on hot summer days and warm on those cold winter days -A new west facing cozy lower level suite of our home that connects you to Auckland central and west with public transport options at your doorstep. -Next to a busy road (note there is some road noise) that gives you access to one of the most frequent bus lines to the city available (bus stop within 50 m of the property!) -Convenience store ("dairy") located directly across the road for any snacks, drinks or ice-creams! -Modern suite with double glazed glass windows and doors throughout. -Private level with no shared spaces. -We provide tea, coffee and clean towels/linen. -Kitchenette has small fridge, microwave, bench top oven appliance (can bake, grill, air fry), stove top appliance and a Nespresso coffee machine (note: limited coffee pods provided) -Parking available offstreet on private driveway (note it is a little steep) -5 min walk from cafe for a great morning coffee -Short 10min walk to the famous Avondale markets held every Sunday morning. -Bus stop across the road, taking you to the zoo, city or to New Lynn mall (mall just 15 min on bus) -Train station 13 min walk away - great access to Eden park, for the rugby or to the city for a night out or to go to a concert -Dining table and chairs to seat 4 -Wifi and TV with Neflix -Bathroom has Shower, toilet and hand basin -Bedroom 1 has queen sized bed -Bedroom 2 has two options, King single or King single + Single trundler. -Both bedrooms have large wardrobes with clothes hangers -Porta-cot and high chair available on request -Iron and ironing board available. -Outdoor 5 burner gas BBQ -Outdoor seating on picnic table -There is no clothes washer however, laundromat is just a 50m walk from house if required. -Beach essentials provided (towels, picnic basket) Guest access Guests will have access to private driveway (note driveway is new but is a little steep and off a busy road), front yard and entire bottom level including lounge, dining, kitchenette, bathroom & bedrooms (internal storage cupboard under staircase remains locked). Door separating downstairs level to staircase remains locked during your stay to ensure your privacy. You will not have access to upper level of house (our family live upstairs) or along the sides of house and back yard. Other things to note This is our family home. So you may hear our three young children playing upstairs. We also have a pet cat. (you may spot her looking out the window). She does not go in the unit and we ensure she has no contact with bedding and towels that are used for guests
