Small Farm Accommodation.

We have a private, self contained unit separate from our house, which is located on an 18 acre lifestyle farm. We love travelling and love having travellers as guests and showing them all the great things they can do in our locality. We are centrally located for access to Porirua ( 12 mins) Wellington (40 mins), Hutt Valley (25 mins) and Kapiti Coast(20 mins). The space We are located 200 metres from the shores of Pauatahanui Inlet, where there is a nature walk and wildlife sanctuary, its a great place for bird watching, windsurfing and kayaking. We are cycle friendly and can advise on local and national bike trails as well as local and national walking/hiking/climbing options. Wilf is a keen surfer and can recommend the local surf breaks. We have a small commercial plot of peonies which bloom late October to early December. We also have sheep - some are pets, cows, ducks and chickens. Lyn speaks a little french and german and we are pretty good at guessing/miming. Guest access You are welcome to wander around the farm. You have your own small verandah with outdoor furniture. The unit has its own refrigerator, microwave and clothesline, washing machine in our house can be used if required. We have wifi which works well and is unlimited. Other things to note We provide bread, milk, cereal, tea and coffee and spreads.
