The Artists' House at the Casale della Nonna

The Casa degli Artisti is a wonderful home on the ground floor of the central body of the Tenuta del Casale della Nonna. All rooms overlook the panoramic patio with a vine-covered ceiling, a large planter and many aromatic plants and lemon trees all around. A true experience in the most authentic Coast It is the house where Nonna Antonietta and Nonno Luigi lived with their large family. The space La casa degli Artisti is a country house with a sea view that occupies the ground floor of Casale della Nonna. A true oasis of peace and relaxation between the sea and the mountains. From the large patio you can enjoy three different views: the ancient village with its lemon terraces, the Castle of Thoro Plano and the wonderful sea of Maiori. The village is only accessible on foot and our "Vertical Experience" has over the years become the way our guests use to work off the delights of Amalfi cuisine. The climb to the farmhouse is very characteristic: 336 steps carved into the rock among the lemon groves. During the ascent (or descent) you may happen to meet the "lemon keepers" who with their mules carry the yellow gold of our Coast up and down. The interior spaces consist of 1 double bedroom, a living room with 2 other beds (NOT SOFA BEDS but real comfortable single beds), an equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower and convenient access to the laundry area (with washing machine). All rooms overlook the lush and panoramic patio equipped with outdoor furniture that allows you to dine outdoors. The barbecue and oven complete the accessories to make the most of the days in the name of conviviality, perhaps for a nice "pizza party" all together under the lemon trees! From June 1 to October 31, you can access the swimming pool in the panoramic solarium area shared with other guests of the farmhouse. An ideal place for lovers of authentic atmospheres that allows you to make the most of the extraordinary nature of the Amalfi Coast. Guides and maps are available at the Casale to make the most of the magnificent trails that also start directly from Maiori. From Maiori, all connections are also available both by sea and by land to the main centers of the Coast, such as Amalfi, Ravello, Positano, Sorrento, Naples and Pompeii, but also all the towns towards Salerno and Cilento. We will give you all the tips to discover even the most unusual corners, perhaps by renting a scooter or one of the characteristic "gozzetti" so useful for reaching the most incredible coves.
