Yalloak House, Riverfront Farmhouse at Birregurra

An authentic farmstay on the banks of the Barwon River, minutes from Birregurra yet tucked completely away down it’s own road. We are proud local farmers and we hope you'll enjoy, depending on when you visit, seeing sheep and cattle grazing, canola or wheat flowering or just enjoy the serenity and space! We are about 3 mins drive from Birregurra and 5 mins to Brae Restaurant, 30 mins to Lorne and the Great Ocean Road and all the Otways have to offer. The space Yalloak House is set on a working family farm at Birregurra. We are full time locals and love welcoming guests to stay on our farm. We are located approximately 5 minutes drive from the Birregurra township. The house sleeps eight people. It has a large living room with open fire, and a dining room that sits ten with a wood heater. A full kitchen with all utensils and facilities provided for your use. Two freshly renovated, spacious bathrooms, one with a deep bath, another with separate toilet and shower. There is an office with desk available (by request) and a huge verandah overlooking the river to while away the hours outdoors. Starlink is connected and provides super fast wifi. There are four large bedrooms: two have king size beds and two have queen size beds. One of the king size rooms also has a single bed. The bathroom has a deep bath in addition to spacious shower, and there's also an outdoor bath on the verandah where you can drink in the views of the river and Otways while you soak. Outdoors you'll find an outdoor bath, seating, a fire pit, and a bbq for your use. Starlink internet offers super fast wifi should you wish to stream a flick or work from home. We welcome well behaved dogs at your own risk, on the condition that they are cleaned up after, are kept away from livestock, and are not left unattended at the property. Please let us know when you book that you'll be bringing your dog. Be aware that while the house is fenced, it's not a dog proof fence, so you'll need to supervise outdoors.
