The space Rekha's Cottage (The Property), is a fully furnished 3 room ( Bedroom + Living Room + Dining room ) self catering Villa on the ground level with an attached bath, a functional kitchen, a two sided wraparound patio and an enclosed back courtyard totalling 1150 sq ft floor area. The property can sleep up to 5 guests. Amenities provided include a 65 inch LED Smart TV, a 3 burner Gas Hob with chimney, a 310 litre Refrigerator, a convection microwave oven, a RO Water filter, an air purifier, small kitchen appliances, a hair dryer, an electric iron, an outdoor clothes stand and a safe locker in the bedroom closet. The kitchen is equipped with adequate crockery, cutlery and essential utensils. The bedroom has a queen size bed for two and a sofa cum bed for one. It has a large closet wiith a built in safe deposit box, a work desk with a landline phone and a high speed fibre optic broadband WiFi router. The living room has a queen size sofa cum bed for two, lounge chairs and a 65 inch LED smart TV. The separate Dining Room has a four seater dining table and cushioned chairs. Table linen and accessories are stored in the wall cabinet. Al 3 rooms are equipped with Daikin split air-conditioners for cooling and UPVC windows with 13 mm security glass. The openable windows are equipped with an insect proof mesh screen. Oil radiator type room heaters are placed in the bedroom and living room in winter. An installed inverter provides 1 hour back up power to lights fans and the WiFi router. There are two bookshelves with a collection of about two hundred books spanning a wide variety of subjects. A cleaning maid sweeps and swabs the floors and the bathroom and kitchen counter every day. This is a free service but you need to ask for it with your preferred timings. Tea, Coffee, Milk and Sugar sachets are replenished periodically. Towels and bedsheets are changed every 5th day. Shampoo, body wash, hand soap, toilet paper, dishwashing liquid, kitchen towels and scrubs are replenished when required. Clothes can be machine laundered or hand washed and ironed in the main house at a nominal cost. A clothes drying stand is provided so that clothes guests wash can be dried in the patio. Though the Villa has a functional, well equipped kitchen, meals can be supplied from the kitchen of the main house. A menu card is placed in the information folder on the writing table. Communication with the staff is either through the AirBnB App, or by placing a call from the landline phone on the workdesk or by using the bell push located near the switch console in the living room. The property has a front patio with a sitout over looking lawns and gardens. A fully enclosed rear courtyard with green turf and shrubbery provides a relaxing second outdoor seating area. Secure parking is available for one car This Villa is ideal for long stay guests because it is tranquil and set in the midst of a vast expanse of greenery which is rare in Delhi. Moreover, the Villa is located in a gated community with 24/7 security guards. Guest access This is an independent, standalone property. Guests have access to the full property except one closet which is marked private and it contains the host's belongings. The guests also have access to the private patio. The entire property is on the ground floor. The dining room is just one step above the living room and the kitchen is two steps below the dining room. Other things to note The property is not walking distance from the Metro or Public Bus Terminals. It is ideal if guests have their own transport or engage a Taxi aggregator service like UBER or OLA. All prominent food delivery vendors and online grocery suppliers service this location.
