This property is peaceful and relaxing, and the views, the location, the ambiance, the outdoor space will ensure a completely relaxing stay. Lookout Lodge is situated on an eco estate, with free roaming game. This is the perfect stop over for travelers touring the country, where you can have a few days of just blissful peace, while your hosts spoil you with excellent suppers and interesting breakfasts. You are never too far away from excitement and shopping either. The space The house is a stone built farmhouse, as modern inside as it is quaint and old fashioned from the outside. You can relax at the pool, or on the lookout deck, while watching the game coming by for a drink of water. The area is magically quiet, and you hear no traffic noise, only the odd jackal howling (after all the dogs have gone to bed!). You will, however, hear the farm animals on the neighbouring farms, and the odd bark of an alarmed impala. The price listed is inclusive of an excellent dinner as well as breakfast. Guest access Walks on the farm, subject to rules. The TV lounge is shared with your hosts, and so is the dining room. There is also a fully functional dining area outside of the guest rooms, which is where we have our braai and spend magical nights sitting outside, listening to the silence, and chatting the night away with friends. You are welcome to share all the sitting areas and bar area as well as the garden and pool. During your stay We will be on hand if needed. We do enjoy spending time with our guests, and they are welcome to interact with us at all times. Other things to note The Great Danes, Zane and Charley, are large (giant) breed dogs, but extremely docile. You share your space with them as well as 3 cats (hardly ever seen).
