Beautiful 180-degree view of Mont Blanc, the valley and the mountains. Close to the chairlift and ski slopes. Renovated 29 m² apartment, located in a small quiet residence, Le Pommeret, 5-minute walk to the center of an authentic alpine village. Warm and cozy atmosphere. The space The Cocoonette apartment includes: - A small living room with balcony and dining area - A well-equipped kitchen area with dishwasher, 50 cm oven, ceramic hob (2 burners), large fridge with freezer (3 drawers), kettle, toaster, and raclette - TV and free Wi-Fi - A separate bedroom (a large bed 160*190 cm or 2 single beds 80*190 cm), new mattresses and beds for this winter - A separate sleeping area with SNCF bunk beds 80*200 cm (*see below) - A shower room (toilet, sink and shower) and a ski locker. - Free parking in front of the Le Pommeret residence on the street. Easy access to the spa and pool (100 m), 50 m to the slopes and ski lifts, close to the ski school and equipment rental, shops (grocery store, bakery, restaurants). The apartment is accessed by going down an interior staircase. *The second bedroom is a sleeping area. It's behind a sliding door right next to the lobby and has no window. It is a small space containing a SNCF-type folding bunk bed. The top bunk is not suitable for children under 8. APARTMENT LOCATION You enter the Pommeret building from the ground floor, and the apartment is on the lower level at the bottom of the stairs. The floor slopes away from the apartment at the front, so you feel like you're on the first floor when you're inside. Parking is in the free public parking lot below, in front of the building. You can go up the ramp and drop off your bags outside the building, then go back down to park. SKIING La Cocoonette is only a 50-meter walk to the village's main blue slope and a short walk to the chairlift. You can take the two chairlifts to the ski slopes above the village (many blue and red slopes and beginner area), or get off after the first chairlift and ski down to the Vanoise Express cable car connecting Montchavin (and La Plagne) with Peisey Vallandry and Les Arcs. This gives you a lot of choice in terms of slopes and ski mileage. Montchavin enjoys a fantastic location in the center of Paradiski, giving direct access to more than 420 km of ski slopes connected by ski lifts, with more than 70% of the slopes above 2000 meters. OTHER ACTIVITIES Montchavin is a pretty alpine village with lots of traditional charm. You will find several bars and restaurants in the center of the village, a short walk from the apartment. There is also a small supermarket, ski rental shops, two ski schools, a cinema and a spa with indoor pool (paid access). There are good snowshoe trails directly from the village, ideal for walking dogs, and higher up accessible from the cable cars connecting Montchavin to Les Coches (the next village) and Plan Bois (the beginners' area). Check with the Montchavin and La Plagne tourist office for more suggestions on winter and summer activities in the area. DOGS Quiet and well-behaved dogs are welcome (maximum 2 dogs). Dogs are not allowed on beds or other furniture. Guest access The apartment is in a small residence. You have the apartment to yourselves. Other things to note Unfortunately, due to its location, the apartment is not suitable for wheelchair users or people with reduced mobility. The apartment, balcony and building are strictly non-smoking. Children are welcome, but please note that the apartment has not been designed for children and is therefore not childproof. We do not provide high chairs, baby beds or blankets, booster seats for children or games. Please bring your own if necessary.
