Kaalba "bright place"

Our self-contained studio is beautifully finished and furnished, perched on a hillside overlooking rainforest, only five minutes from the town of Maleny. The perfect location for a luxurious retreat. The space The studio is in a beautiful and secluded place in the Obi Obi Creek valley, about five minutes out of the town of Maleny, on the east side. Montville is ten minutes away, the Sunshine Coast half an hour. The main house is about eighty metres away so it's private and quiet, the noisiest thing you're likely to hear are the birds, of which there are many! Other things to note Kaalba is perched only a hundred metres from Obi Obi Creek, the main watercourse through the range. A short walk takes you to a fifty metre long swimming hole where platypus can be seen in the early mornings. A slightly longer walk takes you to a waterfall and rapids. The landowners are keen conservationists and much native restoration work has been undertaken.
