Set in Dartmoor's National Park, surrounded by stunning scenery, this grade II listed country family home, built early 19th century is seeped in history, was formally the vicarage for St. Michael's historical church. Many walks and cycle paths are on the doorstep, along with county pubs, locally renowned cafes, and the Dartmoor Visitor Centre. Devon's many attractions including the ancient stannary & market town of Tavistock, and the Devonshire and Cornish coasts are with driving distance. The space The Old Vicarage is a large family country house, with plenty of available parking. A rustic family home rather than a polished show home so it comes with imperfections! Uniquely located in the heart of Dartmoor National Park, close to the ancient Stannary market town of Tavistock, which has lots of options to satisfy foodies and shoppers alike with a fantastic array of restaurants bars and independent shops and its famous Pannier Market. We are also short drive to Two Bridges, Burrator Reservoir, Ashburton, Yelverton & Plymouth. Due to our location guests can easily access moor hiking and walking, cycle routes, wild swimming spots, horse riding, and an incredible variety of spectacular scenery. It is also very accessible for guests to explore both the north and south Devon coasts and Cornwall's magnificent beaches. The house has 6 double bedrooms and can comfortably sleep up to 12 with a large kitten diner, two lounges, and a large garden and patio area. Guest access Lots of parking available.
