C1860 Bluestone cottage. 2 queen bedroom, please note one of the beds is adjacent to open plan living room. We do accept bookings for just 2 persons, as we can close off the 2nd bedroom (bookings for 2 who want to use the 2nd bedroom, a direct fee of $55 applies). Large kitchen, gas cooktop, a MW, Air Fryer (no main oven), 2 person spa bathroom with large walk in shower, reverse AC. Full breakfast provisions included to cook your own breakfast as well as continental options supplied. The space The gardens are over an acre of landscaped beauty in 2017,2018,2019,2021,2022 and 2023 we won 1st prize for best business garden. In 2019 we won 1st in best business garden and the overall Grand Champion across all categories. The buildings are historic built C1890 and are heritage listed. The town is idyllic and picturesque with its many fine old buildings and well maintained parklands. Travel here for relaxation, good food, or access to the many wineries and beaches in the region. A gateway town to the Fleurieu Peninsula and travelling through to Kangaroo Island. Guest access The cottage has its own private partly walled garden as well as our extensive grounds. Your dog is welcome in the cottage whilst you are there but if you need to go out without your furry friend there is a secure undercover area. For your laundry needs, there is a coin operated laundry less than 500 metres away across the road from the property. Other things to note Our Managers Cottage is Pet friendly, a fee of $40 applies payable direct if you bring your dog to cover extra cleaning routine, we welcome well behaved pets. A English Staffy called Jake, plus our 5 friendly chickens live with us and who all together co own the property. Please keep dogs on leash whilst in the gardens because of the aforementioned pets and although allowed in the cottage with you, please not on the furniture. This cottage has a secure undercover area under the cottage for your dog should you need to leave your dog to go out. Pets not to be left unaccompanied in the cottage.
